Email Branding
Your site is up and running, and the visits to your pages keep rolling in. But what about e-mail? You’re using it to automatically or personally reply to your customers and other business contacts. But should you keep using your old “joebob@hotmail.com“ as your business’ e-mail address?
If you own your own domain name, such as, “mycompany.com,” you can use this for your e-mail as well. Every e-mail message that leaves your organization should be “somebody@mycompany.com.” This will help to reinforce your website presence, as well as present a much more professional image to the public. Consider which of your internal staff interact with partners, suppliers, and customers when choosing addresses, so the email setup best matches how your organization actually works.
